Appointed to EMU Accounting & Finance Dept's Advisory Board & guest presented at EMU's new CFP class

In late 2005 I was offered, and gladly accepted, an Advisory Board membership into Eastern Michigan University's Accounting & Finance Department.  The Advisory Board  members will help the department in the coming years deliver high quality, relevant accounting and finance academic programs that help the students develop the knowledge, skills and professional attitudes they need to be successful in their chosen careers.   A list of all members can be found at http://www.accfin.emich.edu/board.html

I will especially be helpful in helping EMU develop its new Certified Financial Planner program starting in February of 2006.  More information can be found at this website http://www.ce.emich.edu/noncredit.html 

I was invited to be the guest presenter in the first class of the "Principles of Financial Planning" course on February 15, 2006.  I thorougly enjoyed the experience talking to and answering students' questions.
